はじめに
サーバーワークスの宮本です。去る 2026-02-16、GitHub Agentic Workflows がテクニカルプレビューとなりました。
GitHub Agentic Workflows (以下、 Agentic Workflows)とは、簡単にいうと Markdown 形式で記述したワークフローをAIエージェントが実行する自動化機能です。
本記事では、公式ドキュメントの Quick Start に沿って Agentic Workflows を試します。
利用にあたっての前提
Agentic Workflows 利用の前提条件は以下の通りです
- GitHub Copilot、Anthropic Claude、OpenAI Codex のいずれかを利用できること。今回は GitHub Copilot で試します
- Write 権限以上を持つリポジトリ
- GitHub Actions が有効になっているリポジトリ
- GitHub CLI (gh) v2.0.0+ がインストール済みであること
- 対応 OS は Linux、macOS、Windows with WSL
Agentic Workflows 拡張機能のインストール
以下コマンドで GitHub CLI の Agentic Workflows 拡張機能をインストールします。
gh extension install github/gh-aw
サンプルワークフローの作成
ワークフローは1から作成することもできますが、特定ユースケースをウィザード形式で作成することが可能です。本記事ではリポジトリに対するデイリーレポートを作成するウィザードを試します。

使用する AI Agent を選択します。今回は GitHub Copilot を選択します。

GitHub Copilot 利用の場合、fine-grained Personal Access Token (PAT) が必要となります。

Markdown 形式でワークフローの内容を記述します。フロントマター部分には実行タイミングやワークフローに与える権限などを記載し、Markdown 部分にワークフローで実行したい内容を自然言語で記述します。今回はウィザードで作成しましたが、独自のフローを作成したい場合は、このファイルに相当するファイルを作成する必要があります。

こちらが実際に動作するワークフローの定義です。冒頭に記載がありますが、Agentic Workflows 拡張機能により自動生成されるため編集してはいけません。このファイルは .github/workflows/daily-repo-status.md をソースとして gh aw compile コマンドにより作成されるためです。そのため、Markdown ファイルのフロントマター部分を変更する度に gh aw compile の実行が必要です。なお、自然言語で記述する Markdown 部分は実行時に動的に読み込まれるため、変更の都度 gh aw compile する必要はありません。

まとめ
簡単ですが Agentic Workflows を試しました。自然言語でリポジトリに関するタスクを記述できるので、複雑なタスクの実装も気軽にトライできそうです。公式ドキュメントには様々なサンプルが用意されているので、眺めることでアイデアを得られそうです。
